I heard that you can use clear packing tape (those really clear ones) as a screen protector on any gadget. So, I wanted to use the tape instead of buying a piece of plastic for $10. But, I'm not sure if it leaves that sticky residue behind. So, does it leave the residue behind? Thanks!Will clear packing tape leave residue behind on an LCD screen?
I'm pretty sure packing tape will leave residue on anything. Personally, I wouldn't even THINK about slathering my monitor in tape. I'd much, MUCH rather go buy a screen cover or some sort.
