What is the best way to make an airplane that has to fly ATLEAST 20 feet out of only cardboard and clear tape?

i presume you are going to hand launch it and let it glide. anyhow, wings do not have to be curved. here is a loose idea of what you can do. make the wings out of the stiffest cardboard you have, app 3 or 4 inches wide, by about24 to 30 inches long. make the body out of stiff cardboard about2 inches wide or more, tape a piece of cardboard vertical on the tail end.shape it like a vertical stabilizer on a real airplane. need not be exact. or you can cut out the body and vertical stabilizer in one piece. better deal. cut a piece of cardboard about5 or 6 inches long and about 2 inches wide. dut a slot under the vertical stabilizer about 2/3 of the way up the body. enough so you can slide the horizontal stabilizer init. make it even on both sides of body. tape in place, using minimal tape. cut a slot in the body in the center of the heighth of the body and about 5 or 6 inches from the front. slide the wing in the slot and center it. NOW. put your two forefingers under the wingapp half way back and support plane. it must balance there. if it is tail heavy, you can either move the wing back a little or add a wad of tape to the nose. is it is nose heavy, which i do not think it WILL be, then add tape to the tail or move wing forward. make it just a tad nose heavy. oh word wingapp above is wing approximztely. sorry. hope it works. then test fly.. please dont break the sound barrier. i have made a few of the crazy things in my younger days. oh, your two fingers should be placed under the wing right next to the body good luckWhat is the best way to make an airplane that has to fly ATLEAST 20 feet out of only cardboard and clear tape?
make sure u get the blance correct and the wings curved round top, flat bottom, etc, its not too hard, just getting the balance should be what u need, like i said above, and light weight, but i admit i am no expertWhat is the best way to make an airplane that has to fly ATLEAST 20 feet out of only cardboard and clear tape?
You best design for something like this will be a delta wing. A delta will not stall so long as you have the balance in the correct position. make it as light as possible to take advantage of all the aerodynamic forces and include in the design a 2 or 3 degrees of dihedral or slightly upward bent wings from the fuselage. this will add stability and use less energy in winding back and forth because of an unstable flight. Hope this helps you. good luck.
