How do I remove the gumminess from old box tape (clear) stuck to a glass window?

The tape is gone, but the stickiness remains. Thanks. How do I remove the gumminess from old box tape (clear) stuck to a glass window?
spray with Windex and work it around with your finger. Then use the razor bladeHow do I remove the gumminess from old box tape (clear) stuck to a glass window?
Goo gone is good if you have it -windex isn't because it is alcohol based and won't dissolve the adhesive. Finger nail polish is OK-if you aren't afraid it will mess up the frame or finish. Or use a drop or two of oil (baby oil or cooking oil) -and rub the adhesive with your finger or a paper towel - The oil will dissolve the adhesive(I've even used PAM).

Once it is dissolved-then use the windex to clean away the oily spot.

all that razor will do is get sticky and gummed up too!

FIRST -- rub on either cooking oil, or peanut butter. Just keep rubbing and rubbing, kind of like massaging....

THEN try the razor blade, careful not to scratch the glass. Add oil and repeat. It will take awhile. And it is mucky and imperfect... but eventually it comes off!

Good luck!
Goo gone is good, but you can also use alcohol.
Use acetone, or fingernail polish remover. It won't hurt the glass but will speed things up.
Goo Gone.
Try Goo Gone.
spray Windex on it, let it sit for a couple minutes, then use a scraper to get rid of it
use a razor!!! it will make the goo go away!!
