How to make a cube out of clear tape???

I am trying to find out how to make a cube ( i think 1inch by 1 inch) out of scotch tape, or any other clear tape. I saw this kid like a year ago and he had one but then i never saw him again. So if anybody knows how to make one please let me know.How to make a cube out of clear tape???
dont know how he made it...but what if you took the length you needed and than kelp stacking layers of tape on it until it was the size you needed...How to make a cube out of clear tape???
This reminds me of an old B.C joke, where they invented baseball and the ball was still made out of a winding of string, but it was cube-shaped. The obvious question was 'how the heck do you wind string into a cube shape?';. The obvious answer was 'you start with a cube in the middle', and it turned out to be a bouillon cube.





However, I don't think this would work...





Have you considered starting by making a ball shape, and then using a hacksaw to cut it into a cube? And then adding another layer or two of tape? I don't know if that's what you saw, but it might look and feel similar...
