If I transfer a VHS tape to a DVD, would the picture come more clearer? or would it look like the VHS tape?

DVD's are more clearer than VHS tapes, and I want to tranfser some of the stuff I recorded on VHS to DVD, Would the picture be more clear like how pictures look on DVD? - I hope so

When u record stuff on VHS, they tend to look more blurry and not so clearIf I transfer a VHS tape to a DVD, would the picture come more clearer? or would it look like the VHS tape?
The quality of the DVD will not be any better than the VHS. At least you won't have to worry about the tape breaking or just wearing out.If I transfer a VHS tape to a DVD, would the picture come more clearer? or would it look like the VHS tape?
it will apear slightly more clear, but the picture quality will still remain the same
Without manual interaction with a pro video editor you can not change the video quality from a source video. Its always ok to take a down step from a source video but its quite hard to go up from a poor one.
Your quality won't be any better than your source. But transfering your video tape to DVD will prevent the image from getting any worse which is usually what happens with tapes over time.
